About SkillWise
Training that travels with the people who do the work
SkillWise is a training and certification platform for frontline teams. Employers publish short courses; learners earn certificates that anyone can verify; and the companies that train people are the ones who get to hire them first.
What we believe
Four principles behind every screen
Skills belong to the person
A certificate earned at one employer should still count at the next. The Skill Passport is the learner's, not the company's.
Trust should be checkable
A claim is only useful if someone else can confirm it. Every certificate verifies publicly, without an account.
Finishing matters more than starting
Lessons are short, quizzes are marked properly, and the video has to be watched before the quiz appears.
Built for the shop floor
Hospitality, retail, logistics, care: teams that train on a phone during a break, not at a desk.
How a SkillWise certificate works
- 1. The lesson is watched in full. On a first viewing the player will not skip ahead, and progress is recorded on the server.
- 2. The quiz is marked on the server. Correct answers never reach the browser; every attempt is stored with its score and the pass mark in force.
- 3. The certificate is issued only once every module is passed. Its verification hash is a SHA-256 digest of the learner, course, employer and issue time together with a server secret.
- 4. Anyone can check it. Paste the hash at /verify to see who it was issued to, by whom, and whether it is still valid.
Who builds SkillWise
SkillWise is developed by Esirom, working with employers who train large frontline teams. If you would like to talk about using it in your organisation, we would love to hear from you.
Start with one course
It is free for learners and takes minutes for employers to set up.
